This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern with Reimagine Main Street, a full-service marketing agency owned by Ogden Newspapers. Based out of the Observer-Reporter office in Washington, Pennsylvania, the agency was created with the understanding that even though they are located in one of the most heavily newspaper-read parts of the country, it’s still important for small businesses to have the opportunity to build a strong online presence through websites, social media, email marketing, and more. I worked with the team from May 12 through July 16, contributing to a variety of marketing and design projects while also attending meetings and local events. My site supervisor was Natalie Gloady, the Digital Strategy Director at RMS, who has been with the agency for seven years and provided incredible insight throughout my experience.
