During my internship with Reimagine Main Street, I gained hands-on experience in a wide range of design and marketing projects. My work included building email campaigns, developing social media content, designing audience engagement graphics, creating promotional posters, and crafting custom logos. This page highlights a selection of my work from the internship, showcasing the variety of creative projects I contributed to.

Del Suppo Pools is a local pool store in the Washington area. They needed two sets of ads to promote their July specials, so I designed over 20 size variations for each one to fit everything from print to digital and social media. The client was really happy with how they turned out and ended up using them across all of their platforms.

Similar to Del Suppo Pools, Tri-State Pool Covers asked for two sets of ads to promote their July specials. I created over 20 size variations for each campaign so they could be used easily across print, digital, and social media. The team was really happy with how everything turned out and ended up using the ads across all of their channels.

The Peters Township Referral Group is a place where local professionals can connect, share trusted services, and support one another through referrals, events, and collaboration. One of the first projects I worked on during my internship was creating a fresh social media campaign for LinkedIn and Facebook to spotlight both new and current members. I designed three different layout options, and the group selected their favorite to move forward with, including a coordinating flyer that was also shared across both platforms. Once approved, I was given access to their social accounts to schedule out the posts and write captions to match. The campaign ended up getting a lot of traction and great engagement across their social media pages.

As my first social campaign, I was tasked with creating and posting content for the Washington Auto Show, which was part of the First Friday Event on June 8. I started posting two weeks prior to the event, creating posts to advertise the vendors, for options, and entertainment at First Friday as well as the information for the car show. The theme was "Back to the 80's," so I was told to adhere to that theme while adding in my own personal style.

BeLocal is a small business marketing network owned by the Observer-Reporter, built to help local businesses grow through a membership-based program. Ahead of a sales presentation in June, the team was looking to rebrand BeLocal and create updated media that matched a new logo designed by one of our graphic designers. I put together a slideshow for the presentation, and the opening slide ended up being used as the banner image on BeLocal’s official Facebook page.

I designed a native ad and a set of profile ads for Mon Valley Transit, the public transportation system for the Mon Valley area to be released during the last week of June. The native ad, sponsored content that ran in the Observer-Reporter and lives on the Observer website, was laid out in InDesign. I also created six different size variations of the profile ad in Photoshop to make sure everything could be used across both print and digital platforms. Once this was all completed, I helped the team upload the native and profile ads onto Wordpress.

I came up with the name and concept for the Retro to Refreshed contest, a sponsored campaign where people could submit photos of their outdated or messy kitchens for a chance to win a full kitchen remodel. The "worst" kitchen wins. I designed the flyer in Canva with the goal of attracting business sponsors for this and future contests, highlighting both community involvement and brand exposure. The flyer was shared with sponsor affiliates through the Wheeling Intelligencer network throughout the month of July.

Rhodes Flooring is a local carpet and installation store in Washington County. They asked for a 600x600 social media post to promote their in-store specials for baseball season. I designed the ad with a fun, seasonal look, and the clients were really happy with the final result. They ended up using it across multiple platforms throughout the month of June.

I worked on an email blast for Star Lake Ford that started as a single poster. I brought it into Photoshop and broke it apart, separating each vehicle and design element. Then I created custom UTM links for each car so users could click through directly to that vehicle's page on the website. After that, I rebuilt the email in BeFree, adding each element with its matching UTM link before sending it over for approval. Once the email was approved, I learned how to submit it as an order through the internal RMS system. Star Lake was very happy with the results of this email blast and it was sent out to their email list. I completed the email for July using the same method.
